The first ever newspaper article on an Atherton Web Design website was in the Tablelander today.

The Yungaburra Association website yungaburra.com required redevelopment of the 10 year old website. Although it ranked well;  it was looking very old and needed a refresh. The site was launched last week demonstrating the new directory and map functionality on the wordpress site.

The redevelopment included preserving all the old content from the site, but then adding a new directory plugin that enables users to view business listings on a google map as well as provide businesses with an editable profile. The website also allows businesses who want to join the association to add a free listing, claim and existing free listing or upgrade and pay for a full business listing all online.

The site will also allow addition of free event listings for the area and can be used to create attraction listings, as mentioned in the article. It is a very exciting new site for the association and Atherton Web Design are glad to have provided the association with such a useful site and hope it helps to raise the profile of Yungaburra and surrounding area.
